Repair - Before
The resident damaged the wall while moving furniture.
Applying Drop Cloth
The technician lays drop cloth in the path from the door to the location of the repair. This is our first layer of protection to ensure the repair and the technician leaves little to no mess behind.
Photo Removal
The technician will remove any of the resident's personal items near the repair to ensure there is no mess or damage to the item during the repair.
Plastic Covering - Floor
The technician will lay down a plastic covering on the floor and then another layer of plastic that is adhered to the wall to ensure no debris gets on the flooring at all. This is another key feature to ensure a mess-free repair.
Vent Seal
Vents are covered to ensure no drywall dust goes into the homes ventilation system.
Furniture Cover
All furniture that stays in the room during the repair is covered in a protective layer of plastic to ensure that no dust or debris causes any damage to the furniture.
Containment Area
A containment area is constructed to keep all dust and debris within a small area. This aids in keeping the room as clean as it was when our technicians entered it.
Accuracy
Our technicians carefully measure the damaged area to before cutting out the section needing repaired.
Mudding
The technician will then precisely apply drywall mud to seal in the repair.
Drying
Before continuing on with the repair, the freshly applied drywall repair will be dried thoroughly before moving on to the next step.
Sanding
With the sander attached to the vacuum to minimize any mess, our technician works to ensure a smooth surface prior to the cosmetic portion of the repair.
Priming
Once the repaired portion of the wall is sanded and flush with the rest of the wall, we prime the area, so it is ready for painting.
Taping
We take the time to tape off any edges that will not need touched by the fresh paint.
Paint Matching
For an additional service, we offer corner to corner paint matching for the wall that had the repair. This added step allows for your wall to look like it had never been damaged.
Final Step
At the end of the repair, we put all furniture back in its rightful place and remove all plastic covers to leave your home looking like we were never there.
Fitting
Once the damaged portion is removed, the technician makes sure that the repair piece properly fits in the removed area.
Removal
Once the damages area has been marked off, our skilled technician will cut into the drywall and remove the damaged area plus a small portion surrounding the damage to ensure a seamless repair. Notice the saw is attached to the vacuum to keep the dust and debris contained and keeping the area clean.
